raceparts.cc® special wheel bolts have been specially developed for professional motorsport and comply with the provisions of FIA Appendix J. They are ideal for vehicles used in racing, rallying and track days, where maximum safety and load-bearing capacity are required.
Manufactured from high-strength G10.9 steel and additionally heat-treated, these wheel bolts offer significantly higher tensile and shear strength than standard components. The surface is galvanised and provides reliable protection against corrosion – even under extreme operating conditions.
A decisive quality advantage is the rolled thread. In contrast to cut threads, the natural line of force of the material is retained. This results in:
higher fatigue strength
no microcracks in the thread base
significantly lower susceptibility to cracking under high loads
The result is a smoother, stronger and more durable thread, as is standard in motorsport.
The special wheel bolts are available in various common thread sizes:
- M12x1.25
- M12x1.5
- M14x1.5
The threads are identical on both sides, so that standard wheel nuts can still be used. In combination with open motorsport wheel nuts, longer bolts can also be used – ideal for track plates or motorsport rims.
