PAGID RS42:
One of the strengths of the PAGID RS42 is its balanced response. The medium coefficient of friction ensures easily controllable braking performance, whilst the good cold braking performance enables reliable deceleration even at lower brake temperatures.
This is a major advantage, particularly in rallying and short motorsport events: the brake pad does not need to be brought up to high temperatures over a long period, but performs well even within a comparatively low temperature range. At the same time, the RS 42 offers excellent modulation and controllability, allowing braking performance to be precisely controlled via the pedal.
PAGID RS pads are also characterised by low thermal conductivity, good compatibility with brake discs and consistent braking behaviour throughout a braking manoeuvre. This makes the RS 42 particularly suitable for drivers looking for a docile, predictable racing pad with a clean pedal feel.

Temperature range and application
The PAGID RS 42 is designed for a temperature range of approximately 100 to 500 °C. Depending on the application and load profile, the pad may also be exposed to higher temperatures for short periods. To ensure optimum performance, the choice of racing brake pad should always be tailored to the specific vehicle configuration, brake disc, axle, tyres and type of use. Due to its balanced characteristics, the RS 42 is particularly suitable when an extremely high coefficient of friction or aggressive initial bite is not required, but precise and easily controllable braking performance is the priority.
