The raceparts.cc® rear strut tower reinforcement plates have been specifically developed for motorsport applications and high-performance BMW vehicles. The rear strut towers are among the most heavily stressed areas of the chassis. High cornering loads, stiff suspension setups, semi-slick tires and regular track use can cause deformation or even cracking of the factory strut tower mounts over time.
Our 3 mm zinc-coated steel weld-in plates provide a permanent reinforcement of this area and significantly increase chassis rigidity. All reinforcement plates are manufactured in-house by raceparts.cc®, ensuring excellent fitment and consistent material quality.
The plates can either be bolted together with the rear top mounts or fully welded to the chassis. For maximum strength and optimum load transfer, welding the plates to the chassis is strongly recommended.
