6-Pole Master Battery Switch for Motorsport and Racing Vehicles
Reliable electrical isolation is an important part of vehicle safety in motorsport. The raceparts.cc® 6-pole master battery switch is designed for competition and racing vehicles where the electrical system needs to be disconnected quickly and reliably.
The 6-pole configuration allows three electrical circuits to be interrupted or switched. When the master switch is operated, the battery is disconnected from the vehicle electrical system and the ignition is interrupted at the same time.
The switching design also helps protect the alternator diodes when the electrical system is switched off. This makes the master switch a practical component for motorsport electrical systems where a reliable battery cut-off is required.
The switch is rated for 100 A continuous current and can handle up to 500 A for a maximum of 10 seconds, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding racing and competition applications.
