The
OBP Remote Balance Bar Adjuster provides a convenient and precise way to adjust the
brake bias from inside the cockpit. Designed specifically for motorsport applications, the remote adjuster allows the driver to quickly alter the balance bar setting to suit changing track and driving conditions.
This proven design has its roots in professional motorsport and was used in Formula 3 during the 1970s. The same principle is also used in international rallying. It is therefore ideally suited to race cars, rally cars and other competition vehicles equipped with an adjustable brake balance bar.
The adjuster can be installed in a convenient and easily accessible position within the cockpit. This allows the brake bias to be adjusted while the vehicle is moving, although it should not be operated while actually braking. The unique detent knob mechanism provides quick operation in both directions, making it easy to make precise adjustments to the brake balance.
The supplied cable is approximately 700 mm long and can be shortened if required to suit the individual installation. The connection is 7/16"-20 UNF.
